Canine Mange


     




Mange - Mange is an irritation of the skin, primarily resulting in hair loss and sometimes including itching and inflammation, all of which are caused by microscopic mites. Mange is most commonly found in dogs and other canines, but it can occur in other domestic and wild animals, and occasionally in humans.

Canine minute virus - Canine minute virus is a type of parvovirus (canine parvovirus type 1) that infects dogs. It was originally discovered in Germany in 1967 in military dogs, although it was originally thought to not cause disease.

Infectious canine hepatitis - Infectious canine hepatitis is an acute liver infection in dogs caused by canine adenovirus type-1 (CAV-1). CAV-1 also causes disease in wolves, coyotes, and bears, and encephalitis in foxes.
